- Personal Information: When you use our image transformation features, you may select photos from your device which may contain faces or other identifiable elements. These photos are temporarily processed for the sole purpose of applying artistic transformations. We do not collect any personally identifiable information from you, including face data.
- Non-Personal Information: We may collect non-personal information about your device, including but not limited to the type of device you use, your device’s unique ID, the IP address of your device, your operating system, the type of Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the App.
How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect in the following ways:
- To Improve the App: To understand and analyze how you use the App and improve its functionality.
- To Provide Customer Support: To provide you with support and respond to your inquiries.
Third-Party Service Providers
Image Processing
When you use our image transformation features, your selected photos (which may incidentally contain faces) are transmitted to our service provider OpenAI solely for processing artistic transformations. RemixMe does not perform facial recognition, extract biometric data, or conduct any analysis of facial features within your images. Photos are processed exclusively for the artistic transformation you explicitly request, are contractually prohibited from being used for training AI models, and are permanently deleted from OpenAI's servers within 24 hours in accordance with our data processing agreement. The transformed images are returned directly to your device and are not retained on our servers under any circumstances.
Data Retention
User Photos and Face Data
Your original and transformed photos are stored only on your device unless you choose to share them. We do not retain copies of your photos on our servers. Our service provider OpenAI automatically deletes all submitted images within 24 hours of processing.
Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We may share information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy.
- Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers to perform certain services on our behalf, such as analytics.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights, or protect against legal liability.
Security of Your Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted within the App.
